Screen time that becomes skill
The hours are going to a screen either way. Here there is a robot, a game engine or a working program on the other end of them — and something to show for it at the end of the week.
Safety is designed in, not promised
A mandatory safety induction before any hardware, supervision at 15 learners per trainer or better, and age-appropriate limits — younger builders work low-voltage and supervised.

It doesn't compete with school
We're the fast layer beside the formal system, not a substitute. Their foundation, discipline and board results still come from school — we add what school structurally cannot move fast enough to teach.
Sorted by what they can do, not by which year they're in
CEFTA Jr is a single track for school students, roughly grade 6 and up. There is no middle-school or senior-school stream to choose between — the level ladder does the sorting, and cohorts are mixed-age by design.
No junior and senior split. Every school builder follows the same ladder — L0 through L3 — and starts at the rung that matches what they can already do, not the year they were born.
A cohort is grouped by level, so a curious 7th-grader and a focused 11th-grader can share a bench. In a build-first room that helps: the person a step ahead of you is the best explainer you'll get.
What does change with age is safety and supervision: younger builders work low-voltage, under direct supervision, with age-appropriate limits on tools and equipment. If you're unsure where your child should start, the free L0 answers it in an afternoon.
